Vincent, in his forties, is happy to have a child for the first time. As the birth approached, he chose the first name with his partner Anna. Invited to dinner with Élisabeth, his sister, and Pierre, his brother-in-law, he finds Claude, a childhood friend there. While waiting for Anna to arrive, always late, the guests question her about her paternity. While everyone is rejoicing, Vincent reveals the first name of the baby chosen for his unborn son. His family and his friend Claude do not approve of this choice. Anna arrives in the middle of a confrontation and the meal turns into a debacle.
